Toki recommends: leave the chamber open and accessible from the sides when your pet is calm. If they are already used to a kennel cage, they will notice no difference.

How to use the chamber correctly

1. Place the chamber in a quiet, cool location.

2. Connect the tube to the oxygen source (canisters or concentrator).

3. Open the chamber and allow the cat or dog to enter voluntarily. Do not force them.

4. Gently close the door and turn on the ventilation to maintain airflow.

5. After the session, open the chamber and let the cat or dog exit when they wish.

It is recommended to never leave the animal unattended inside the chamber. It is important to monitor them at all times for any signs of discomfort and contact your veterinarian immediately if needed.

Venturi System

The Venturi system included with the PureVent chamber allows you to easily and safely adjust the oxygen concentration using 6 color-coded adapters:

  • Blue – 24%
  • White – 28%
  • Yellow – 35%
  • Red – 40%
(the most commonly recommended by veterinarians)
  • Pink – 50%
  • Green – 60%

Each adapter mixes ambient air and pure oxygen in different proportions. This system increases the total airflow inside the chamber, improving air exchange and helping to reduce heat, humidity, and CO₂. We recommend always consulting your veterinarian for the most suitable setting.

In the absence of specific instructions, the red adapter (40%) is the most suitable for starting.

PureVent Chamber + Oxygen Concentrator

An external source of medical oxygen with a continuous flow of at least 5 L/min and a concentration ≥90% is required for the safe and effective operation of the chamber. You can pair the PureVent chamber with the Yuwell 8F-5A oxygen concentrator. This is the ideal combination for daily and extended treatments, especially in chronic cases.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Sessions of 10–15 minutes are generally recommended, to be repeated several times a day. Always follow your veterinarian’s instructions.

Leave it open and place something they like inside, such as a blanket or a toy. Familiarity with the environment helps reduce stress.

For home cleaning, use warm water and mild soap. In a veterinary setting, chlorhexidine can be used, making sure no irritating residues are left behind.

When the animal needs oxygen for more than 30 minutes a day, or at a flow rate higher than 3.0 LPM. In these cases, we recommend the chamber in combination with a concentrator, especially for chronic use.

By using the included Venturi adapters, which mix ambient air and oxygen to achieve concentrations from 24% to 60%. The most common level is 40%, but your veterinarian will advise the correct setting.

The chamber is designed to provide a calm environment: the transition of oxygen from a narrow tube to a wider one reduces the flow speed and noise, making the therapy more tolerable for the animal.

No. The chamber does not generate oxygen on its own; it must always be connected to an external source.
